I particularly like to focus on those that have personally evoked a soulful experience... you know... those kind that stop you in your tracks with their "wow, that's so cool", those moments that you get goosebumps from seeing something so breathtakingly beautiful, or eating food so yummy it makes your toes curl with delight!

I am just a girl who took a leap in the direction of her dreams.
Moving away from everything and everyone I knew in Albuquerque, New Mexico (think Breaking Bad) to living in beautiful Southern California for 8 years (think The OC) to now living in the city of lights, Paris, France.
See, I have always felt like there is something bigger for me; That the world is so much more of a bigger place than I could ever realize. So believing that in my heart to be true and knowing the only way I was ever going to experience it was to go see it, I leaped.
Why…because life is just too short to not be doing what lights you up.
That said, how I leaped was by going to my, then and still current, employer and telling them I was moving to Paris and wanted to take my job with me. I'm in sales so I sold it, they said yes and boom just like that I was on my way, working from my home in Paris or anywhere with an internet connection. My real job :) is still full time as a Director of Sales for a Digital Ad Agency, but my passion, what lights me up is traveling, discovering new things, eating amazing food and experiencing remarkable life moments while seeing this beautiful world!
That said, what you will find here are those moments that I have experienced in my travels which center around going off the beaten path, because to me that is where the real hidden gems of the cities are, in all the places you don't hear about in the tour guide books. I have categorized these by the cities for which I have experienced them in to help guide you should you visit these places.
I hope this blog inspires you to go travel and experience more of the world; To go discover and explore new places, even if it's in your very own city and, most importantly, to go live your dreams and experience your life as you desire it to be <3
